Rolan and Rachel Mead Scholarship

Robert Mead, former Dean of the College of Arts & Science, and his wife, Nancy Mead, established this scholarship in honor of his parents, Rolan and Rachel Mead. After working his way through his undergraduate education as an engineering major, Rolan began a life-long career as an electrical engineer. His wife Rachel majored in biology and attended graduate school in nutrition. Both highly valued higher education and influenced their children in this regard as well. This scholarship for electrical engineering majors and biology majors is intended to help students pursue their higher education goals.
