Carl A. Digino Scholarship Endowment

Established in 2000 in honor of Carl A. Digino ’47 (journalism), a classified advertising manager, a sports editor for Reno Newspapers and one of the founding members and a past president of the Sierra Nevada Sportswriters and Broadcasters Association. His desire was to assist journalism students in their efforts to earn their degrees. Recipients of this award will be a full-time students pursuing a journalism major with a 3.0 GPA.
