Frank Margrave Endowed Scholarship

A Lovelock, Nevada, native, Frank Margrave spent two years with the military. In 1946, he married Luella. In his time, he raised turkeys and dabbled in real estate, but his primary avocation was as a miner. He owned and operated Packard Mine and Crystal Peak. Established in his honor in 1997, this scholarship is awarded to full-time juniors and seniors in the Mackay school with a 3.0 GPA. Preference will be given in the following order: to a male student, and to a student majoring in mining engineering or geology.
