Nell J. Redfield Foundation Scholarship for University of Nevada, Reno National Merit Scholars

Nell J. Redfield created the Nell J. Redfield Foundation in 1974. Redfield has been a major benefactor to the University of Nevada, Reno, community college education, primary and secondary education, as well as general community projects in the Truckee Meadows. Recipients shall have been named a finalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program, earn a minimum of 30 credits per academic year and maintain a minimum of 3.50 GPA for the duration of the scholarship
