John H.K. Montgomery Endowed Memorial Scholarship

John H.K. Montgomery ’85 (music education) was the director of the Virginia City High School Band. To honor his memory, this scholarship was established in 1998. Recipients shall be members of the University Marching Band with preference given to students who have marched for 3 years and who are pursuing degrees in music education. Recipients will be full-time students, undergraduate students must have a minimum 2.75 GPA and graduate students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
