Lura G. Batjer Endowed Memorial Scholarship

Lura Gamble Batjer 36 (botany) was a strong believer in education and community involvement. This fund was built into an endowment by her family to provide a perpetual scholarship in Mrs. Batjer’s name to a student interested in pursuing a career in medicine. Recipients shall be full-time students majoring in a pre-med discipline with the intent of going onto medical school and demonstrated financial need. Preference shall be given to female students and students who have no or minimal scholarship support.
