Vonita & Larry Stephens Endowed Scholarship in Nursing

Vonita Stephens worked as a registered nurse in neurosurgery for Dr. Mack and Dr. Dawson in Reno, NV until her retirement in 1983. Upon her passing in 1998, her family established this scholarship in her memory to benefit juniors or seniors majoring in nursing with a minimum 3.0 GPA, demonstrate financial need and have graduated from a Nevada high school.
