Alianza Scholarship

The Alianza Scholarship Fund was established in 2018 to assist with efforts to recruit, retain and graduate underrepresented students in higher education, especially those who demonstrate financial need and are not eligible for federal student aid programs. Recipients shall be full or part-time pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to receive and retain the award. First preference shall be given to students with demonstrated financial need, especially those ineligible for federal student aid programs, as determined by the Institutional Methodology form or equivalent. Secondary preference shall be given to students who have overcome obstacles, such as being a first-generation college student, and can demonstrate a commitment to serving Chicanx, Latinx, and/or Indigenous communities.
