H. M. Byars Civil Engineering Endowed Scholarship

H. M. Byars ’52 (civil engineering), ’72 M.S. was the founder and president of Byars Construction Company. As an alumnus and faculty member at the University, his work mentoring young interns and engineers made a great impact on the community. Established in 2000 in his honor, this scholarship is awarded to undergraduates majoring in civil engineering with 3.0 GPA and demonstrated financial need.
