Freeman F. and Norma F. Morgan Scholarship

Freeman and Norma Morgan moved to Fallon in 1948 became an integral part of the community. Freeman was offered a job as manager of Kent s Lumber Yard. Norma took a job as penmanship teacher at Oats Park School. She also taught girls P.E., ran the little library part-time, and then taught 6th grade before becoming full-time librarian at Churchill County High School in 1965 where she remained for 10 years before retiring in 1975. Recipients shall be graduating seniors of Churchill County High School in Fallon, Nevada, who are pursuing a degree in at the University of Nevada, Reno. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to receive and retain the award.
