Donald and Gay Sandberg Endowed Scholarship

Gay Sandberg was a long-time educator in Washoe County having taught history and government for some three decades in schools such as McQueen, Hug, and Traner. She was keenly interested in supporting students who demonstrate financial need. Recipients shall be entering full-time freshman from Washoe County Schools with a preference to Hug High School students. A 2.75 GPA is required to maintain this scholarship.
