Rita Roberts Nursing Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2002, this fund was created in memory of Susan Murray’s mother. Rita was described as “the classic nurse.” In her 46-year career she served as a bedside nurse, administrative nurse, case manager, instructor, friend and mother. It’s believed that she would be proud to know that quality, competent nursing care will continue because she is helping students to learn to help others through this scholarship. Recipients shall be juniors or seniors or graduate students majoring in nursing, demonstrate financial need and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
