Erin & Patrick Leahy Endowed Memorial Scholarship

Patrick Shannon Leahy and Erin Kimberly Leahy, brother and sister, were both born and raised in Carson City, Nevada. They both had opportunities during their brief lifetimes, to move to other states for educational and job opportunities, but chose to live in Nevada – their home and the place where their hearts were. Both Erin and Patrick were graduates of Carson City High School and were extremely dedicated to learning and higher education and both attended classes at the University of Nevada, Reno. This memorial scholarship was spear-headed by Lorraine Leahy, mother of Erin & Patrick and by family friends who wanted to create a lasting tribute to Erin & Patrick’s memory. Recipients shall be graduates of Carson City High School with a 3.0 GPA who are attending full-time. Preference will be given to those applicants with demonstrated financial need.
