M. Kay Holjes Health Ecology Endowed Scholarship

This fund was established in Kay s memory in 2003, as a testimony to her life s work as an advocate for fairness and equity for all. She spent her life using her gifts to bring love, laugher and support to all who knew her, including those who experience disabilities. The recipient(s) must show an interest in working areas that enhance a) Independence of people with disabilities and b) inclusion of people with disabilities into the fabric of community life. Preference shall be given to a junior or senior Health Ecology Major and/or Master s in Public Health student, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need.
