Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Fox Endowed Scholarship

Sidney Fox attended Nevada from 1934 through spring of 1936, but did not obtain a degree from the university. According to the joint last will of Sidney and Elvira Fox, Mr. Fox "recalls that in the year 1934, Nevada made it possible for him to matriculate as a student there by lending him the money and credit to pay class fees and to buy books through the good auspices of Dr. Clarke, who was then University president; In appreciation of that kind act, the Fox s bequeathed a gift to establish this scholarship for students who demonstrate financial need.
