T. Lyle Taylor Endowed Scholarship

President and CEO of Geotemps from 1986 until his death in 2004, Lyle Taylor was a member of the Mackay School of Earth Sciences Executive Advisory Board and was awarded a lifetime membership to the Geological Society of Nevada. Established in 2004 in his honor, this scholarship is awarded to full-time third- and fourth-year students pursuing a degree in the geological sciences or mining engineering. Recipients will have a 2.3 GPA or better.
