UNR QSU Annual Scholarship

Founded in 1985, the UNR Queer Student Union (QSU) establishes this scholarship to assist individuals, regardless of sexual orientation or gender, who have made a positive impact on the LGBTQIA community. This scholarship is a result of the cooperation between students, faculty and community members in reaching equality for all. The UNR QSU is a recognized ASUN social and political organization that seeks to promote the acceptance and understanding of LGBTQIA community on the University of Nevada, Reno campus as well as in Northern Nevada. Recipients shall be at least part-time pursuing an undergraduate degree at Nevada and be a member of the ASUN QSU. Preference will be given to a student who has positively contributed to the LGBTQIA community.
