R.J. Simcoe Memorial USAC Endowed Scholarship

Richard John “R.J.” Simcoe was a third generation native Nevadan of Basque, Irish and German decent who graduated from McQueen High School in 2002 as a Presidential Scholar. Just 21 years old at the time of his untimely death, R.J. was studying in San Sebastian, Spain with the University Studies Abroad Consortium. This memorial scholarship was established by the family and many friends of R.J. Simcoe to support scholarships for students pursuing their educational dreams at the University of Nevada, Reno through (USAC).
