Jessie Patricia McCarthy Comstock Endowed Scholarship

Although having not attended the University of Nevada, Reno, Jessie Patricia McCarthy always felt a warm spot in her heart for the University and her family’s involvement with the campus. Additionally, she loved Virginia City and Nevada. In 2005 a trust established by her estate was distributed to the University of Nevada, Reno to establish this scholarship. Recipients shall have demonstrated financial need with preference given to students from the Virginia City/ Comstock area.
