Marilyn J. Horn, Ph.D. Graduate Student Endowed Scholarship

Dr. Marilyn J. Horn Bohmont was well respected and was an accomplished leader in her field, serving as Associate Director/Dean of the School of Home Economics at Nevada from 1957 to 1970, then as Coordinator of Research and Graduate Study in Home Economics until her retirement in 1983, where she held the rank of professor emerita. It is through the establishment of this scholarship endowment that in Dr. Horn’s memory, female graduate students pursuing their education at the University of Nevada, Reno will be assisted in their professional development.
