Alayne Casteel Endowed Scholarship

Alayne Casteel, born to Gary and Claudia Casteel in 1968, graduated from Nevada with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in speech communication. Alayne served as a lecturer at Nevada for six years. She also established her own company, Communication Training Systems, and became an internationally known trainer and consultant for business and professional organizations, especially trial lawyers, judges and court system managers. She died March 26, 2002. This scholarship was established through memorial gifts and contributions from Mr. and Mrs. Casteel in memory of their daughter, Alayne to benefit incoming freshman from Sierra Lutheran High School.
