Myles Family School of Public Health Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2006, this fund was established by Dr. Robert K. Myles and his wife, Jean, and is the first endowed scholarship established in the School of Public Health to help attract students to meet the current nationwide shortage of public health workers in universities, hospitals, state, and county health departments, and into PhD programs and medical school. The Fund shall be used to provide scholarships for students who are pursuing a degree in the discipline of public health and who intend to actively pursue a career in the public health profession. Undergraduate student recipients shall have a 2.8 (or higher) grade point average and graduate student recipients shall have a 3.0 (or higher) grade point average to be considered for the scholarship.
