Dr. Robert N. Tompson Memorial Endowed Scholarship
A WWII veteran, Robert N. Tompson ’49 MS (mathematics) was a leader in the development of the first computer science curriculum on campus and played an instrumental role in establishing the Desert Research Institute. Established in his honor in 2008, this scholarship is awarded to students pursuing a mathematics degree. Recipients will have a 3.0 GPA. Undergraduate recipients must enroll in a minimum of 15 credit hours while on scholarship. Graduate recipients must enroll in a minimum of 9 credit hours.
