Lee D. & Virginia D. Hirshland Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2008 in honor of Lee D. Hirshland and his wife, Virginia by their friends and family. Lee was the founder /owner of KTVN Channel 2 and also taught a course in broadcast journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno. Recipients of this award will be full-time students, pursuing a journalism major in broadcast journalism with a 3.0 GPA.
