Jim Bernardi and Bob Dillard Theater Endowed Scholarship
Rev. Jackie L. Leonard ‘71 (speech/theatre) established this scholarship in 2008 to honor two outstanding faculty members in the Department of Theatre: Jim Bernardi ’64 (speech/theatre) joined the faculty in 1972 and taught experimental theater, theater history, and seminars on women and theater. Bob Dillard joined the University in 1968 and taught acting, directing, and playwriting. Recipients of this scholarship shall be full-time juniors, seniors, and graduate students with a 2.5 GPA. It is the donor’s intent that two scholarships are awarded annually: one for a male student and one for a female student. The intent of the scholarship is to support students who are involved in international programs, such as study abroad courses.
