Louie A. & Hazel L. Gardella Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Louie and Hazel supported local education and the University of Nevada, Reno and their family will continue to do so through their activities and this scholarship. The Gardellas’ three sons are all alumni of the University of Nevada, Reno. Recipients will have a 3.0 GPA, demonstrate financial need and majoring in Agricultural or Veterinary Science with preference for undergraduate and graduate students who have participated in 4-H or FFA; and or major in psychology with preference for junior and senior undergraduate students and graduate students participating in the Nevada Caregiver Support Center or research that focuses on clinical gerontology or other mental health issues of seniors.
