Robert E. Kendall Mining Engineering Endowed Scholarship

Robert (Bob) E. Kendall was born in San Francisco in 1923 and was raised on the Comstock Lode in Virginia City. He was a second generation Nevadan and both of his parents had roots in the Nevada mining camps going back to the early 1900’s. William A. Harrigan, a long-time friend, Mackay School classmate, and fellow Mackay School Advisory Board member is creating this endowed fund to honor Bob and his dedication to mining, Mackay, the University, and Nevada. Recipients shall be full-time students pursuing a degree in mining engineering with a minimum 2.75 GPA. Preference will be given to graduate students.
