Theodore E. and Edna H. Conover Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2010 in memory of Ted and Edna Conover. Ted was a journalism professor, served as chairman of the Department of Journalism and was responsible for adding broadcast journalism to the curriculum at the University of Nevada, Reno. Under his direction the department was the first accredited in 1970. Ted married Edna Harsha, and together they bought and sold five newspapers. This scholarship is awarded to full-time students in RSJ majoring in journalism with a 3.0 GPA.
