Beavers Heavy Construction Endowed Scholarship

Founded in 1955, The Beavers, Inc. is an honorary organization for construction companies and individuals who are or have engaged in heavy engineering construction. This scholarship, established in 2010, is awarded to full-time juniors, seniors, or graduate students in civil engineering. Recipients be United States citizens with a 2.8 GPA and demonstrated financial need. Recipients will have a professional goal of achieving a career in the heavy construction industry, as established in one of three ways: enrollment in related curriculum, such as the post-baccalaureate certificate program in construction management; b) commitment to pursue part-time or summer employment in the heavy construction industry while attending school; c) a written paper outlining the recipients reasons for choosing a career in the heavy construction industry.
