John and Rita Marschall Family History Endowed Scholarship #1

John Marschall began teaching history at the University in 1969 and achieved emeritus status in 2002. Rita Marschall ’72 (art), ’91 M.A. (teaching English as a second language) taught in the Washoe County School District for 21 years. Established in 2011, this scholarship is intended for full-time sophomores, juniors, and seniors seeking a degree in history with a 3.0 GPA.
