Senator William J. Raggio Education Endowed Scholarship

A fourth-generation Nevadan, Senator William J. Raggio ‘48 (political science) served Nevada his entire professional life, as senator and as a key component in the growth of the state’s colleges and universities. His dedication to education continues through this scholarship, established in 2011 to benefit full-time students in the College of Education or graduates who are finalizing their professional preparation. Recipients will be in their student intern semester and have a 3.0 GPA.
