Lawrence J. Semenza Accounting Endowed Scholarship

Lawrence J. Semenza, who graduated from Nevada with a business degree in 1925, was one of the leading accountants on the west coast. He was one of six children, all of whom graduated from Nevada. This scholarship was established in his honor in 2010 through a distribution from the estate of his sister, Evelyn Semenza English. Recipients must be majoring in accounting and must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
