George S. Ross Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2011 by George S. Ross ’46 (journalism), who had a journalistic career that began as a young sportswriter on the University of Nevada, Reno campus and spanned the unquestioned golden era of Oakland sports in the ’70s. Recipients of this award will be full-time students, pursuing a journalism major in news with a 3.0 GPA.
