Lawrence Stoffel Music Endowed Scholarship

Lawrence Stoffel ’72 (music), ’74 M.A. taught music in Washoe County schools and at the University. Larry also played saxophone with Glenn Miller, Buddy Morrow, Tommy Dorsey, and Harry James, among many other noteable performers. Established in his name in 2005, this scholarship benefits full-time wind instrument students majoring in music. Recipients will have a 3.0 GPA and demonstrated financial need.
