Jane Bessette Endowed Scholarship

Jane L. Bessette ’86 B.S. (accounting), ’03M.S. (HDFS) was an employee of the University of Nevada, Reno for 17 years. Jane is a source of inspiration for all those who meet and interact with her, and friends and colleagues established this fund to remember her dedication and contributions to the College through a scholarship fund in her name, which will recognize students who have also worked to make the College a better place. Recipients shall be pursuing an undergraduate degree in The College of Business, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to receive and retain the award and be taking a minimum of 9 regularly scheduled University of Nevada, Reno credit hours each semester they receive the scholarship. Preference will be given to students who have a leadership role in The College of Business student organizations and/or students who are active in community involvement.
