Guy W. and Patricia A. Yates Endowed Scholarship

Guy 63 (economics) and Patricia Yates established this endowment to create a permanent bond between their family and Nevada. Gary shared, My education in Nevada assisted me in my forty-year career in the petroleum industry with Shell Oil Company, Giant Industry Inc. and Yates Consulting Company This is our way of saying thank you to the University of Nevada for my education and college experiences. Recipients shall be a graduate of Carson High School in Carson City, Nevada who is pursuing an undergraduate degree full-time and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 to receive and retain the award.
