Karen Harvey Petroni Endowed Scholarship in Education

Karen Harvey Petroni ‘59 (business) established this fund because she and both of her parents received degrees from Nevada. She wants to help those students in the fields of Education, Nursing and Medicine which are so necessary for the State’s health and welfare. Karen completed her degrees as a married woman and acknowledges the hardships therein. Recipients shall be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Education and shall have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Preference will be given to married female or single-parent female students
