Michele Basta Memorial Endowed Scholarship in French

Michele Basta ’66 (French), ’86 M.A. was a world traveler with a special love of the French language and culture. As the Director of Public Relations and Development at the University, she was instrumental in the design of the Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center Campaign. In her honor, this scholarship was established in 2014 for full-time students pursuing a degree in French. Recipients will have a 3.0 GPA. Preference will be given to students who are working in the University Libraries.
