Dr. Baldev K. Vig Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Named in honor of the late Professor Emeritus Baldev Vig, the Dr. Baldev K. Vig Memorial Scholarship Endowment supports students in STEM majors. Vig was a 1979 Outstanding Professor and, in 1986, was the first Foundation Professor from the biology department. The scholarship was funded through memorial gifts from friends, family and colleagues, and by his wife, Gargi Vig ’72 (arts & science), 82 M.A. (special education).
