Hooker Creek Ranch Endowed Scholarship

Hooker Creek Ranch has raised quality quarter horses since 1975, and its breeding and training programs have produced many winners. Hooker Creek is owned and operated by Matt Day 68 (agriculture), and it is his desire to assist the students of his alma mater with this scholarship. Recipients shall be full-time students and have a minimum 2.0 GPA to receive and retain the award. Recipients shall have graduated from an accredited rural Nevada high school (not Clark County or Washoe County). Preference shall be given to students: 1) pursuing a degree in veterinary science, 2) pursuing a degree in the Mackay School of Earth Sciences and Engineering, and 3) students who intend to apply to veterinary school.
