Elizabeth Ann Van Kleek Endowed Scholarship

Elizabeth Ann Van Kleek was a 2014 graduate of Liberty High School in Oregon where she played basketball and lacrosse and ran cross country. She attended the University of Nevada, Reno where she was a freshman studying business and was a resident of the Nevada Living Learning Community. She was a member of the Eta Iota Chapter of Delta Gamma Fraternity. This scholarship was established in her memory to encourage female students pursuing an undergraduate degree at the University of Nevada, Reno who are of junior or senior standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Preference should be given in ranked order to students: from out of state, with first preference given to students from Oregon and secondary preference given to students from WUE/WICHE region (Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming), with demonstrated financial need, with 4-H participation and/or with active membership in Delta Gamma or another recognized sorority.
