Dolores M. Antkowiak Endowed Scholarship

In 2015 Dolores M. Antkowiak established this scholarship to inspire University of Nevada, Reno students to pursue nursing. Dolores earned her degree from Mercy College of Nursing in San Diego, Calif. After living in many parts of the country, Dolores and her family settled in Nevada in 1975 and she worked for the State of Nevada working with various medical programs until her retirement. Recipients shall be graduates of a Nevada or California high school and be full-time students pursuing an undergraduate degree in nursing with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Preference should be given to students of Hispanic descent.
