Mitch and Debbie Legarza Endowed Scholarship

Mr. Ralph Whitworth 82 (political science) was a founder, principal, and investment committee member of Relational Investors LLC. In honor of Ralph s lifelong friendship with Mitch and Debbie Legarza, Ralph and Fe Whitworth created this endowment in their name. Mitch 84 (managerial sciences) and Debbie Legarza 82 (fashion merchandising) are fourth-generation native Nevadans and promote education as the key to long-term economic and personal welfare. Recipients shall demonstrate financial need, have a minimum GPA of 2.75 to receive and retain the award and be graduates of a northern Nevada High School.
