Mitch and Marie Woods Education Endowed Scholarship

Mr. Ralph Whitworth 82 (political science) was a founder, principal, and investment committee member of Relational Investors LLC. In honor of Ralph s lifelong friendship with Mitch and Marie Woods, Ralph and Fe Whitworth created this endowment in their names. Mitch Woods of Mitch Woods Insurance has been in the life insurance business for 34 years. He and Marie are native Nevadans and have five children between them and two grandchildren. They both are committed to making the community a better place for the future of their children and generations to come. Recipients shall have a minimum GPA of 2.75 in the College of Education and be a graduate of a northern Nevada high school with preference given to graduates from Hug High School.
