Karen Mizner Endowed Memorial Scholarship

In 2016, Cecil Mizner created this scholarship in memory of his late wife, Karen Mizner. Recipients shall be full-time students with a minimum 3.0 GPA pursuing an undergraduate degree in the College of Education at the University of Nevada, Reno. Recipients shall be a graduate of a high school within the state of Nevada. Recipients shall be a first-generation University student or demonstrate financial need at the level of Federal Pell Grant eligibility, with preference given to recipients who are both first-generation students and demonstrate financial need at the level of Federal Pell Grant eligibility.
