Scottie Hendrickson Nursing Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2016 by Margot Page to honor Scot (Scottie) Hendrickson, who has worked as a nurse for more than 20 years and loves the profession with her whole heart. She believes those she cares for are people, not just patients. Instilled with a strong work ethic, Scottie asks the questions that let her patients know that she cares about them personally. Scottie also feels strongly about nurse education and advanced practice degrees. As a working, single mother, an advanced degree was not an opportunity she was able to pursue. Recipients shall have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the Orvis School of Nursing to receive the award with a preference for single parents and graduate students.
