Bourne Morris Endowed Scholarship
Professor Emerita Bourne Morris taught in the Reynolds School from 1983 to 2009 after a successful career in New York advertising that culminated in the presidency of Ogilvy & Mather advertising agency in Los Angeles. Her professional work broke boundaries for women in business, and her academic career helped hundreds of students succeed in their chosen professions. Because of the impact Morris has had on hundreds of Reynolds School students, the School created a strategic communications scholarship in her honor in 2016. Recipients shall be full-time students pursuing an undergraduate degree in journalism with an emphasis in strategic communication, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need.
