Urdene & Jim Slingerland Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Jim Riley ‘69 (journalism) created this endowed scholarship in honor of his godparents. The Urdene & Jim Slingerland Memorial Endowed Scholarship will be open to deserving University students in any major. Jim, a native Nevadan, and his wife, Paula ’96 (social work), are longtime University supporters who share their family’s commitment to the community. Recipients shall have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to receive and retain the award.
