Gary G. Mitchell University Endowed Scholarship

Gary Mitchell 79 (accounting) financed his college education through work and some modest financial aid, and retains strong memories of the challenge of balancing the demands of both work and school. To honor and thank the University and faculty, Gary and his wife Nancy created this endowed scholarship in 2016. The goal of this endowment is to assist students that are self-supporting and partially or fully funding their own higher education, and to give them an opportunity to focus on their education by working fewer hours during their time at the University. Recipients shall demonstrate financial need and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to receive and retain the award.
