Marjorie L. Sill Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Fund History and Purpose: Marjorie Sill was lovingly given the title Mother of the Nevada Wilderness for her lifelong commitment to protecting the environment. She was instrumental in creation of the Great Basin National Park in 1986 and passing the Nevada Wilderness Protection Act of 1989. This scholarship will encourage full-time students pursuing degrees in environmental science, ecohydrology, forest management & ecology, or wildlife ecology & conservation while maintaining a 3.0 GPA.
